Hi all, I married into a big family with lots of birthdays and anniversaries and they can be hard to keep track of. I usually get a little calendar and write them in every year, but saw this Heidi Swapp Calendar and thought I could make something more creative. The calendar comes like this:
It is 5 X 7 sized and has a page for each month, with different designs and colors. To customize the calendar, I stamped the numbers on each month using the Lower Case Sophie Clear Stamp Alphabet from Stampabilities. It took a little time, and thought to get them right, but once I got into it, it wasn’t hard to do each month. I typed out each month’s birthdays and anniversaries, printed them off on my computer, and taped them to the back of each month using Scor-Tape. The little embellies on each date for a birthday or anniversary are from Joann’s. I bought some black rings and ribbon that matched to finish the calendar. This is how it turned out, I was pretty happy and can use it from year to year now.
It really was pretty easy and I am pleased with the results. “Be Good!” Debbie
This is so cool! What a great idea!
