You’re A Gem – Essentials by Ellen

IMG_7978  I have a thank you card for you today.  This one uses the Essentials by Ellen stamp and die set called “Hello Gorgeous.”    I used washi tape from Recollections (I loved this combination!) for the strips at the bottom.  I cut the gem out of metallic gold paper, which I also used for the background layer. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Rocket Red Brilliance ink.  You could also make this for a birthday also  or just a cute card for your favorite girl! (There are lots of fun sentiments in this set!)  Hope you have a good day!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Easter Monday

IMG_8041  One more card for Easter, since it is Easter Monday!  This is a card I made for my sister.  I used some light blue paper I had around for the background and sponged it with some Memento light blue ink and then white chalk ink by VersaMark, to make it look like clouds.  The basket is  from Memory Box, and the three grass dies from Impression Obsession.   The eggs are a Taylored Expressions little bits easter confetti die, the bunny from Impression Obsession, and the chick is from Cheery Lynn.  The little bow is Memory Box also.   With each element, I highlighted it with  a little corresponding ink.  I popped a few things with dimensional adhesive to give it some depth too.  And the cute Easter Greeting is also from Impression Obsession.  Have a great day!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Happy Easter

IMG_8000Today we celebrate the resurrection of our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  I made this card for my Church to send to shut-ins.  The main die I used was the Cottage Cutz Bible with Lillies. The nice thing about this die, is that you can use various scraps of paper to make the little pieces needed, and everything fits together well.  The sentiment is from Impression Obsession.  The doily is a Spellbinders oval die.  The background paper is from We R Memory Keepers called May Flowers.  Happy Easter!   “Be Good!”  Debbie
