Back To School Pencil Card

IMG_8749  Hi!  It’s back to school time in Ohio for all the little munchkins, so today I have a back to school card for you!  I wanted to do a pencil, and by trial and error, figured out the dimensions to make this cute one.  The yellow body of the pencil is scored with my score board, and I used zig zag scissors to cut the edge which would be where the pencil is sharpened.  I used a corner punch to cut off the edges of the eraser.  The background paper is from Recollections and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.  If you would like to have the directions with dimensions, please comment below and I would be glad to send them to you.  Hope this is a great year for all of our school kids!  “Be Good!” Debbie

Tool Box Birthday Card

IMG_8709 Hi!  We have this cute Great-Grandson who will be three years old this week.  He loves tools and fixing things, so I decided to make him a tool box birthday card!  It really was easy, I just scored and folded red paper to make the box, cut a handle from black paper, and the latch on the front is a cut from the curved matting basics set by Spellbinders.  The sentiments on the front and on the inside are from Paper Smooches.  Here is the inside of the card:IMG_8710

The tools are stickers from Reminiscene, they were just perfect for this card.  You could also use some of the various dies that cut tools, ( I have a My Favorite Things set.)  I think this will make a great Father’s Day card also!  Happy Birthday Jackson, we love you!!  “Be Good!”  Debbie
