Fall Coffee Lover’s Bloghop

11638805_10207927413971348_1249712840_oHi!  It’s time for the Fall Coffee Lover’s Bloghop, a celebration of card making and coffee! This is a really fun bloghop, with card makers from all over submitting their cards about coffee. There are a ton of great sponsors too!  For my entry this time, I decided to do a Halloween theme:

.IMG_8928 First, I cut a skirt pattern.  Then I cut layers of tulle and gathered each at the top, and glued them into position on the skirt.  I made the polka dots with black Stickles.  I used a piece of ribbon for the witch’s belt, and a little embellie for the buckle.  Her legs are from Taylored Expressions, a die set called The Witch Is In.   I used the sparkle paper that I used in the background for her arm and boots.  I cut her an arm and a hand, and draped them over the top of the card when I assembled it.  The coffee cup is also from Taylored Expressions,  and so is the little spider.  I stamped the spider on the cup and heat embossed it with Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder.  The sentiment I  printed on my computer in a fun font and used My Favorite Things Stitched Fishtail Flags to cut it out.  The spider web background paper is from Recollections!   There you have it, a coffee brewing Halloween witch!   Make sure to check out all of the wonderful entries on the bloghop,  you will be amazed, and they will really spark your creativity!  Enjoy!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Super Hero Baby Shower Card

IMG_8901  Hi!  One of the things that I love to do, is to figure out cards that match a theme.

I got this invitation to a baby shower:IMG_8902a_edited-1  and wanted to make a card to match.  I found a digital stamp by JW Illustrations.  It has several babies and a few logos and words with the set.   I colored the baby with E51 and 53 for his skin, R27 and 29 for his cape and boots, B24 for his suit and Y17 for the belt.  I also I cut a little gold circle for the belt buckle. I fussy cut him out and popped him with some dimensional adhesive. The city skyline is from Taylored Expressions and the tag die is from My Favorite Things.  The background paper is some that  I had from my stash.  I think this will be a fun card for the shower and I love how it turned out!  “Be Good!”  Debbie
