It’s time to celebrate Spring! Last week at this time, we had snow on the ground, but yesterday, (Hooray!) it was 75 degrees! It is also time for the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop. There are lots of fun cards in the Bloghop to celebrate warm weather and sunshine, coffee, tea, and cocoa. For my card today, I say “Cheers to Spring!”
This fun little bunny is raising her coffee cup in a toast to Spring! She is made from the Favor Bag Accessory – Bunny die from Mama Elephant. The coffee cup is from Taylored Expressions, from a set called joe to-go. The paper I used is from Doodlebug, spring things and cream & sugar. I created the sentiment on my computer and used the My Favorite Things Fishtail Flag Frames for the banner. The little embellies are from Doodlebug also. Happy Spring everyone, and be sure to check out the other wonderful cards in this fun Bloghop! “Be Good!” Debbie
Woo Hoo, Summer is finally here and it’s time for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, a celebration of all things coffee, tea, and cocoa!
Since Summer is a time for picnics and outdoor fun, I decided that iced tea on a picnic would be a good way to cool off. So here is my card:
To get all the different elements, I had to use stamps from several sets for the food and drink, and even free hand a few. The grass background paper is from Doodlebug, and the sun is from Reverse Confetti. The ants are from Lawn Fawn and the basket from Waltzingmouse. I love the saying, is from a song from the Disney Movie “Song of the South.” I have it in a stamp from Woodware, but it was too big, so I just typed and printed a smaller version from my computer.
Hope that you have an awesome Summer, have a picnic or two, and remember to check out the rest of the entries on the Blog Hop! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi, I am here today with my second and final card for the Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I wanted to do a card with coffee and cookies for Santa.
The paper I used is from Doodlebug, the Sugarplums collection. The cup and sentiments are from My Favorite Things (Hug in a Mug for the Stamps and Hot Cocoa cups for the die.) The cookies are an old Quikkutz die, and the plate is from My Favorite Things also. (Zig Zag oval) The little tag is from the Mama Elephant Mini Messages set. The candy cane is a little chenille pipe cleaner I had in my stash. Thanks for checking in with me today, my Christmas Card preview will continue on Sunday. Wishing you all the blessings of Christmas! “Be Good!” Debbie
Tomorrow is the big day, so I have a really cute card for you. This uses the stamp set, Puppy Love by Reverse Confetti. I colored the dogs using E 31 and E 33, with E 50 for the white parts of the dogs. The bow tie for the boy is R27, and the bow for the girl with RV13 and14. I used a black Gelly Pen for the eyes and noses. The really fun part about the dogs is that you can customize them, for another card, I used a photo of the Grandkid’s dog to make it look like him. I stamped the heart with Memento Lady Bug. I fussy cut the dogs and heart and popped them with a little dimensional adhesive. The background paper is from Doodlebug, and the ribbon I picked up at Walmart. Hope love finds you tomorrow. “Be Good!” Debbie
Today I have a cute card for you that I made for my Great-Granddaughters. I used the Smart Phone die by My Favorite Things. I had some red and black shiny paper that I used for the phone and the screen, and used a circle and square punch to make the on button. The hearts and speech bubble are also included in the die set, along with several other cute things that can be used with the phone. The background paper paper is from Doodlebug and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps. Hope you all have a great day! “Be Good!” Debbie
Here is another Christmas card for you today! I love this Santa in the truck! The die is from Cottage Cutz, this is the first time I have used one of their dies. Make sure you use the enclosed injection foam, as the little pieces really stick into the die. I found that out right away, and the foam makes cutting a breeze. There are lots of little pieces that need to be cut, but you can use your scraps for the individual pieces. The paper is from Doodlebug, and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado called Warm Holiday Wishes. “Be Good!” Debbie
Happy World Card Making Day! Today I made a card for the Newton’s Nook celebration and contest. I love this little squirrel from their set, Sweetheart Tails, and the cute sentiment! The squirrel is colored with Copic E25 and E57. I colored two and fussy cut one to put on top the other, to make him stand out. The acorn is colored with E31 and E57. The banner die is from Taylored Expressions and the circle dies from Sizzix. The paper is from Doodlebug, called Friendly Forest. The heart is from a chipboard sticker set from Studio Calico, and I used a bit of May Arts twine to tie on the banner. Have a great day, celebrate with us by making a card, and send it to someone to cheer them! “Be Good!” Debbie
