Jig Like No One Is Watching

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to share with you a cute card that I made for the upcoming St Patrick’s Day!  The stamp is from Raisin Boat, Go For The Gold.  I colored the leprechaun using G 05, 07, and 17, his skin with E00 and E 01, his hair is YR 16, shoes are C07, and used a gold pen for his hat band.  The embossing folder I used for the background is from Darice.  The banner dies are from Impression Obsession.  I Stamped the sentiment in cottage ivy Memento ink.  I put Mr Leprechaun on a wobble spring so that he would dance!   I love him!  Be sure and keep watching for more St Patty’s Day cards!   “Be Good!”  Debbie

Realtor Congratulations Card

IMG_9579

I wanted to share with you a fun card that I made for my husband’s daughter to send to her daughter, who just passed the test to become a Realtor.   I cut a rectangle for the house itself and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.   The roof, window, and door are from a Memory Box house die set, the sun and clouds are from W plus 9, and the grass and tulips are from Impression Obsession.  Then I just used my Office program on my computer to make her picture smaller and create the sign.  I know she will love it! Best wishes Sadie, you will be great!   “Be Good!”  Debbie

It’s time for the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop, another fun celebration of coffee, tea, cocoa, and cardmaking!  We all have spring fever around here and are waiting for the day when we can see continuous sunshine and warmer temperatures.  I wanted to do a whimsical celebration of spring, so this is my card for the bloghop:

The sentiment is from JustRite, and I love it, I used to post it on my Mom’s wall when she was in a nursing home.  The teacups are from Taylored Expressions, I just used gel pen to add the polka dots and gold Wink of Stella for the handles and bases.  The bird, grass, fence and tulips are from Impression Obsession.  The sun and clouds are from W plus 9.  I freehanded the teabag.  Hope that you enjoy my card!  Keep hopping on the bloghop trail for more great cards and ideas!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Christmas Card Preview – Reindeer Flourish by Impression Obsession

IMG_9263.JPGHi, today’s card features the Reindeer Flourish die by Impression Obsession.  I love this reindeer, he makes such beautiful focal point for a card!  I cut him in brown paper and highlighted him with a little Memento brown ink.  I used gold background paper and the cream colored paper I embossed with an Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug embossing folder called Fluted Damask.  The holly leaves are also  from IO and I colored some pearls with my Copics for the berries.

Next up, The Holiday Coffee Lover’s Bloghop, I will have hopefully two cards for you to enjoy this weekend!   “Be Good!”  Debbie

Happy World Cardmaking Day

IMG_8955Happy World Cardmaking Day!  I made a fall card for you today.  The little girl is My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Thankful Friend.  I colored her with my Copics:  YR15, E08, E00, E01, B39, E33, E 35, G17, and E 29.  I used a bit of W00 to go over her sweater to make it look not so bright.  The background is a Darice leaves folder that I embossed on kraft paper.  I also used a trick my Sister taught me,  use Versamark clear embossing ink to sponge on the kraft paper to give it a different look.  The oval is a Pierced frame oval from My Favorite Things, and the leaves are from Impression Obsession. I popped the frame out a bit with dimensional adhesive and did the same to the little girl.  Hope you have a great day everyone!  Here in Ohio it is a great day to stay inside and make cards, as it is very windy and rainy.  “Be Good!”  Debbie
