Lastly, a picture of my Dad and myself.

Stained Glass Cross Easter Card

IMG_7992I have another Easter card for you today.  My Sister found this great stained glass paper at Michael’s and we both started to think of all the possibilities!  I used a Darice embossing folder for the background, it is kind of a vine type border.  The sentiment is heat embossed with Memento Grape Jelly ink and it is from My Sentiments Exactly.  I cut the stained glass paper with an oval die from Spellbinders.  The Cross is also from Spelbinders, Crosses Two, and I highlighted it with Memento Toffee Crunch ink and used dimensional adhesive to attach it to the oval.  I love how it turned out!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Easter Card using Leanne Creatif Dafodil

Hi!  I am working on Easter cards right now, so thought I would start sharing them with you.  This one uses the Leanne Creatif Daffodil die.  It makes beautiful and realistic flowers, in 2 different sizes and styles.  I cut the flowers from yellow paper and highlighted them with a bit of Memento Cantaloupe ink.  When I placed them on the background, I used some dimensional adhesive to make the flower petals pop.  The leaves were highlighted with Cottage Ivy.  The background is dry embossed with my Cuttlebug Wicker Weave folder.  The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly, and it is on a Spellbinders FancyTag.  I am anxiously waiting to see daffodils here, it has been a long and cold winter.   “Be Good!”  Debbie
