It’s time for the wearing of the green! Happy St Patrick’s Day to you all! Here are the cards I made this year to celebrate:
Hope you all have a fun and festive day! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share with you a cute card that I made for the upcoming St Patrick’s Day! The stamp is from Raisin Boat, Go For The Gold. I colored the leprechaun using G 05, 07, and 17, his skin with E00 and E 01, his hair is YR 16, shoes are C07, and used a gold pen for his hat band. The embossing folder I used for the background is from Darice. The banner dies are from Impression Obsession. I Stamped the sentiment in cottage ivy Memento ink. I put Mr Leprechaun on a wobble spring so that he would dance! I love him! Be sure and keep watching for more St Patty’s Day cards! “Be Good!” Debbie
Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone! Today, I have some cards that I made for this year’s celebration!
The first is for my sweet Irish husband:
The stamp is from DRS designs.
This is a digital free stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
This is from My Favorite Things.
A cute little leprechaun wood stamp that I had in my stash.
This cute cottage wood stamp I got at a garage sale for a quarter, and I love it. The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly.
This Irish Blessing is from paper that I had in my stash.
Happy St Patrick’s Day from my husband and I.
“Be Good”! Debbie
Happy St Patty’s Day! When I was a little girl I so wanted to be Irish, (We are almost all German) so I got smart and married an Irishman! Here is my card for you today. The Celtic Cross is from Our Daily Bread designs, stamped in Northern Pine Memento ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged just a little Northern Pine along the edges of the paper with the embossed cross The paper is from Reminisce from the Shamrock Collection, called Celtic Knot. It is 2 sided paper and I used sides for contrast. Have some corned beef and cabbage and have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day! “Be Good!” Debbie
I am working on my St Patrick’s Day cards right now, and I have a cute one for you today. This one uses Washi Tape, mostly from Queen and Co., a little is from Recollections also. I love Washi, because it is so bright and fun, and can be used so many ways. I just used strips of Washi and wrapped them around the edges of my paper. The sentiment is from my stash, probably from Joann’s. The rainbow and pot of gold are little dies from Taylored Expressions, and I think they add a great touch to the card. Very easy to make, and I love the results! “Be Good!” Debbie
Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone!!! This is a card I made for my sister. I love vintage lace and I found this with shamrocks at a garage sale. I tea dyed it and made it into a rosette. The green ribbon is flocked and I embossed the fish tail with the Cuttlebug shamrock embossing folder. I also cut the shamrock from the flocked ribbon with the Spring die from Paper Smooches. I had to color the ribbon a little darker with my Copics, as it was a little bright and didn’t exactly match the paper. The heart is a Maya Road trinket pin. The good luck tag is from Graphic 45. May the road rise to meet you… “Be Good!” Debbie
When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be Irish (I had German on both sides.) When I grew up I married an Irishman, so I had my wish! Here is a St Patrick’s Day card I made. The paper is from Recollections, the stamp is a dollar stamp from JoAnn Fabric I think. The shamrock die is from Paper Smooches, the Spring die. I cut 3 of them and scored them in the center, then glued the ends so they were 3 dimensional. I used my Lawn Fawn journaling die for the background and a bit of green twine. Hope you have a wonderful St Patrick’s Day! I will be wearing my green, eating corned beef and cabbage and singing Irish songs! “Be Good!” Debbie
