Sending Happy Thoughts/Happy Fourth of July!

Hello, Happy Summer to all!  I made a cute little card for thinking of you/Happy Fourth of July.  I used my spritzer and Tim Holtz Distress Marker  (stormy sky) on a white background and the background paper is from Doodlebug. I used the large, medium and small grass dies, and large fence die from Impression Obsession.  The bicycle is a die from Memory Box that my sister so kindly let me borrow.  I just Copic colored the tires, seat and handlebars of the bike with black.  The flag is just one of those flag picks that you see in stores around this time of year for appetizers or decorations.  The sentiment is from Stampabilities. This would be great as a birthday card or a thinking of you! Hope your Fourth is filled with fireworks, family, food and fun!!  And a special shoutout to our Veterans and Servicemen and Women, you are the reason we can celebrate and we are so very grateful!!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Stamps

I love the little Pure Innocence girls from My Favorite Things. This popcorn girl is so cute!  I used Copics to color her, Y32 and 35 for her shirt, B91 and 93 for her pants, C5 for her shoes, R27 for the cup and popcorn box, E31 and 33 for her hair, and E00 01 for her skin.  I used liquid applique to make the popcorn “pop” (ha ha) and a little Y32 for the butter.  The paper is from Recollections and I used a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklet to cut the sentiment.  Enjoy!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

My Favorite Things Father’s Day Cards

Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you some Father’s Day cards that I made, using My Favorite Things stamps and dies. This first one above, I colored with Copics, B91, B93, W00, W02,W03,W05, C00, C1,C3,C5 E00 and E01. The background paper is from my stash. I used Spellbinders Matting Basics to cut the pieces and Taylored Expression Banner Stacklets 1 for the Happy Father’s Day Flag. I used a little silver bling to finish it off also.

This card uses E00, E01, B93, C1, C3, C5 and E 31 and 33. The die cut is from Lil’ Inkers. I used little foam squares to give the die cut dimension. Again this paper is from my stash. Perfect card for the cyber-dad in your life! I believe that the above 2 sets are no longer carried by My Favorite Things, but you may be able to find them out there somewhere.

This card is made with the brand-new My Favorite Things Die-namics Suit and Tie die. It is so very fun and easy to use. The papers are from Recollection. All you need to do is cut out the parts and assemble them! It looks great, don’t you agree?
