These are some of my favorite Valentine’s that I made for this year!
Wishing you lots of love this Valentine’s Day! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi! Here are a few of my Halloween cards from this year! Wishing you lots of treats and no tricks! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi, today I have another quick and easy Valentine for you! This one uses the Smooches Stamps set by Lil’ Inkers!. This is a great stamp set, with several sentiments and different size sets of lips. I used Memento Lady Bug ink to stamp the lips and then heat embossed it using Ranger clear superfine embossing powder. I used Versafine ink to stamp the sentiment, and my corner punch to round the corners of the card. I love it! Hope you have a great day! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi, I did a little Black Friday shopping today, but more importantly, wanted to participate in the Red Friday Bloghop by Operation Write Home. OWH sends blank handmade cards to our Heroes, who in turn, use them to write to their families and friends. Valentines are next to be sent in by card makers, but love cards are always needed and appreciated. This is a slow period because of the Holidays, so the Bloghop is to call all of our attention to the fact that cards are always needed. We get to see great cards in the Hop, be inspired, and there are lots of super prizes too!
I was hopping through this morning, and I was inspired by Julie Ebersol’s Blog, Paper Truffelz . I loved her card with the cute little envelopes. I have a die set by Lil’ Inkers Designs called Mini Envelopes Dies & Accessories . I wanted to do one bigger envelope, and used the word dies and heart die from the set in my card. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Hugs and Kisses embossing folder. The little envelope is scored and the flap cut, and I used my Copic COO to shade the edges a bit. I used a little dimensional adhesive to hold the envelope open. Then I cut 3 hearts and added them. Here is the final result:
So there you have it! One of the many things we talked about being thankful for yesterday, was our Heroes, who sacrifice themselves to protect our freedom! Please consider participating in Operation Write Home!
Now, back to Christmas cards! “Be Good!” Debbie
Hi, I have another Christmas card for you today! This one uses the Lil’ Inkers dies, Holly Jolly and Stitched Script Holiday Words. I used red and green paper, and my Femme Frames stitched rectangle from Mama Elephant. The Lil Inkers word die, does not cut out the word, it just leaves a stitched impression which is really cool. I used a bit of Mememto ink to edge the holly and leaves, and popped them a little with dimensional adhesive. Once I had the card put together, I thought it would be cool to use a white gel pen on each of the individual stitches to make them stand out. I was really happy with this one. “Be Good!” Debbie
