Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Here are my Easter cards for this year:

I was a bit obsessed with the Lil Inker peek-a-boo  bunny die!  You can do some really fun things with it!   I also used  Taylored Expressions (Iconic Wishes, Savior Stamp), Mama Elephant (The Bunny’s Hop), and Memory Box (Simple Chicks), and a few others too!  Hope you all have a wonderful and Blessed Easter! “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” “Be Good!” Debbie

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hello everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day!  Here are some of my favorite Valentines that I made this year:

I made this card for my Sister. The Husky (my Sister’s) and the Border Collie (mine) are our craft room mascots!

I also made these Valentines for kids in Children’s Hospitals:

I had a lot of fun making them this year and really got into the animal ones especially I guess!  If you would like to know about any of the individual cards, please contact me.   Wishing you lots of love today!  “Be Good!”  Debbie

Day 2 Valentine – Smooches Stamps by Lil’ Inkers

IMG_7505 Hi, today I have another quick and easy Valentine for you!  This one uses the Smooches Stamps set  by Lil’ Inkers!.  This is a great stamp set, with several sentiments and different size sets of lips.  I used Memento Lady Bug ink to stamp the lips and then heat embossed it using Ranger clear superfine embossing powder.  I used Versafine ink to stamp the sentiment, and my corner punch to round the corners of the card.  I love it!  Hope you have a great day! “Be Good!”  Debbie

OWH Red Friday Bloghop

OWH-Red-Friday-Bloghop

Hi, I did a little Black Friday shopping today,  but more importantly, wanted to participate in the Red Friday Bloghop by Operation Write Home.  OWH sends blank handmade cards to our Heroes, who in turn, use them to write to their families and friends.  Valentines are next to be sent in by card makers, but love cards are always needed and appreciated.  This is a slow period because of the Holidays, so the Bloghop is to call all of our attention to the fact that cards are always needed.  We get to see great cards in the Hop, be inspired,  and there are lots of super prizes too!

I was hopping through this morning, and I was inspired by Julie Ebersol’s Blog, Paper Truffelz .  I loved her card with the cute little envelopes.  I have a die set by Lil’ Inkers Designs called  Mini Envelopes Dies & Accessories .  I wanted to do one bigger envelope, and used the word dies and heart die from the set in my card.  The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Hugs and Kisses embossing folder.  The little envelope is scored and the flap cut, and I used my Copic COO to shade the edges a bit. I used a little dimensional adhesive to hold the envelope  open. Then I cut 3 hearts and added them.  Here is the final result:

So there you have it!  One of the many things we talked about being thankful for yesterday, was our Heroes, who sacrifice themselves to protect our freedom! Please consider participating in Operation Write Home!

Now, back to Christmas cards!  “Be Good!”  Debbie
