Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Here are my Easter cards for this year:

I was a bit obsessed with the Lil Inker peek-a-boo  bunny die!  You can do some really fun things with it!   I also used  Taylored Expressions (Iconic Wishes, Savior Stamp), Mama Elephant (The Bunny’s Hop), and Memory Box (Simple Chicks), and a few others too!  Hope you all have a wonderful and Blessed Easter! “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” “Be Good!” Debbie

Happy Birthday to Pika-you!

Hi all!  My husband and I have these really really cute Great-grandsons who love Pokémon!  So G (what he wants to be called)  was 4 on Friday.  I wanted to make him a Pokémon birthday card, and the only character I know is Pikachu.  (I need to better educate myself I think to keep up with these kids)  I have the Favor Bag Accessory – Bunny from Mama Elephant, so I thought I could adapt it to be Pikachu.

I just cut pieces to make the black on the ears and made them a little more pointy, and hand cut the tail.  The happy sentiment is from Memory Box.  The inside sentiment I did on my computer and reads, Happy Birthday to Pika-you!  I know he will love it!  Happy Birthday G!   “Be Good!”  Debbie

Happy Mother’s Day!

My Mom and Grandmothers are both in heaven now and I miss them dearly, but I am so thankful for their legacy of love and faith.  (and craftiness too, they were all very crafty!!)  Here are my Mother’s Day cards for this year:

and lastly pictures of my Mom and I!

Realtor Congratulations Card

IMG_9579

I wanted to share with you a fun card that I made for my husband’s daughter to send to her daughter, who just passed the test to become a Realtor.   I cut a rectangle for the house itself and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.   The roof, window, and door are from a Memory Box house die set, the sun and clouds are from W plus 9, and the grass and tulips are from Impression Obsession.  Then I just used my Office program on my computer to make her picture smaller and create the sign.  I know she will love it! Best wishes Sadie, you will be great!   “Be Good!”  Debbie

It’s time for the Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  It’s a fun showcase of cards for coffee, tea, and hot cocoa lovers.  Here is my card for today:

I had in mind a cup of Christmas tea when I designed this.   The cup is from Simon Says Stamp, it has the cup, spoon, and little sugar cube dies with it.  I used American Crafts foil paper for the cup and spoon, and  used clear Wink of Stella to make the cubes look shimmery.  The sentiment is from Verve, a free digital set  that they are offering called Cup of Kindness.  I used my computer to change the color of the sentiment to match the card.  I love this set, thank you Verve!  I used Spellbinder floral ovals to cut it out.  The poinsettia is from Memory Box and I cut it out with a sparkly flocked ribbon I got at a garage sale.  The leaf is also from flocked ribbon.  I love the look and the feel when you use it!  The background paper is from Bo Bunny called the Silver and Gold Collection.  A few rhinestones for accent and there you have it.  Make sure you check out all of the talented people participating in the bloghop!  “Be Good!”  Debbie
