Happy Birthday Bailey
Hi, just had to share with you a card that I made for a dog! Yes, a dog, but a very special dog. Bailey is a Border Collie that belongs to my Husband’s Son. He comes to visit every Sunday and Bailey comes along, and sometimes she stays with us for a few days when he is gone. She is the smartest and sweetest dog and we just love her to pieces! Today is her birthday, she is 12, so I made her this card. I found the cute Border Collie picture on the net, and printed it off, and made the sentiment with my computer also. The word balloon is from Paper Smooches, and the twine from May Arts. Happy Birthday Bailey, we love you!!! “Be Good!” Debbie
Tool Box Birthday Card
Hi! We have this cute Great-Grandson who will be three years old this week. He loves tools and fixing things, so I decided to make him a tool box birthday card! It really was easy, I just scored and folded red paper to make the box, cut a handle from black paper, and the latch on the front is a cut from the curved matting basics set by Spellbinders. The sentiments on the front and on the inside are from Paper Smooches. Here is the inside of the card:
The tools are stickers from Reminiscene, they were just perfect for this card. You could also use some of the various dies that cut tools, ( I have a My Favorite Things set.) I think this will make a great Father’s Day card also! Happy Birthday Jackson, we love you!! “Be Good!” Debbie
Cute Ghoul Halloween Card
I love Halloween! This is a fun card I came up with! I cut the skirt by hand, and the glittery stars on her dress are stickers from my stash. The legs are from Taylored Expressions (the witch is in die set). I used glittery black paper to cut her shoes. The hem on her dress is the spiderweb border from Taylored Expressions also. I added some rhinestones to her dress and shoes and a ribbon bow for her waist. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches, and I used a Technique Tuesday banner die to cut it out. The background paper is from my stash. Spooky fun!!! “Be Good!” Debbie
Halloween Selfie Card
I have started working on Halloween cards, and had the idea of doing some sort of “selfie”, so I thought about a ghost taking a selfie! The photo frame die is from Taylored Expressions, and the Ghost is a Lil’ Inker stitched ghost. The paper is from Recollections, and the ribbon was from my sister. The #hashtag selfie, is from the Tim Holtz Hashtags stamp set, and the Boo, is from Paper Smooches! #funcard I think! “Be Good!” Debbie
Spaghetti and Meatballs Birthday Card
My family loves spaghetti, in fact when I was little, we even had spaghetti at least once for Thanksgiving! Thankfully, my husband likes spaghetti too. I had this idea for a spaghetti and meatballs card, and my creative Sister threw in a couple of ideas. (She makes the best spaghetti sauce too!” I just used die cut circles for the plate and the spaghetti, and embossed with my Sizzix swirls embossing folder. I cut small circles and embossed them with a polka dot embossing folder. The fork is from the Magnolia silverware die set, and I took a thin strip of paper and wound it around the fork for a strand of spaghetti. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. Now I am getting hungry! “Be Good!” Debbie
Thomas the Train Birthday Card
We have a cute Great-Grandson celebrating his 3rd birthday on Wednesday. He is crazy about Thomas the Train. We got him a set of books for his birthday, and that gave me the idea for the card. I just used some of my dies to make the shapes needed to make Thomas, and used Taylored Expressions banners for the banner, Paper Smooches for the sentiment, the 3 is from the Parker alphabet from Memory Box. I think he will love it! Happy Birthday Parker! “Be Good!” Debbie
